Week 3: Basement floor, rough-ins

We stopped by this weekend to see that the basement floor has been poured, along with the garage slab. Also the plumbing for the wet bar/bathroom and the sump pump are in place. Looks like they’ve started filling dirt/gravel in around the foundation as well. We’re really hoping to see some framing happening this coming week.

Not a whole lot to report this week. After two weeks of work, the basement walls have been poured and the window wells are in place.

Happy Labor Day! Hope everyone had the opportunity to do something fun this long weekend. We stopped by the construction site on our way back into town from visiting friends and family. Since we checked it out last Monday, the biggest visible difference is the forms that have been put in place for the basement walls.
