Week 6: Framing nearly complete

Things are looking good! Framing’s almost done; Sean says it will finish on Monday. We’ve got the whole structure in place now, and can really get a sense of the space inside. And, now that the windows are set, we’re officially past the point that the first house got to. Six weeks versus four months.

Week 5: Framing underway

Lots of change — the house is starting to look like a house, and we’ve got an all-new design here on the blog.

Framing has been in full swing this week, and we stopped by this weekend to see how things are going.

Week 4: Basement slab

Nothing terribly exciting this week, but at least there was some progress. After two and a half weeks of bitterly cold temperatures, it finally rose above 20 degrees this week which allowed Bedrock to get the basement slab poured. Framing is going to start first thing on Monday!

Week 2: Foundation in place

Happy New Year! We took an opportunity on this clear but crisp day to go check out the progress on the house, and much to our surprise the slabs for the basement floor and garage had been poured.
